Who else makes use of the tribe foafs?

Does anyone know if other sites make use the tribe foafs?

I belong to at least two communities now that use foaf (tribe and ELGG) and it seems like it would be better to list and update my profile in one place of my choosing and then reuse that profile.

This is a question I'm also interested in.
At the foaf.net homepage ist says:

"We are Tribe, Ecademy, Blogware, AlwaysOn Network, InCircle, SixApart (Typepad, Moveable Type), PeopleAggregator, Midentity, Technorati, CivicSpace/Drupal, 1UP, LiveJournal, Zopto, Bryght. Contact Marc to get your name onto this list."

But I'm just searching in my techorati profile and I don't find any hints to foaf.

    What's ELGG?

We haven't built any mechanism to synchronize FOAF yet, mostly because tribe is currently the only real FOAF enabled site. Currently tribe only tracks (and provides via foaf) your friends here on tribe. Being able to integrate with other sites was one of the core goals of foaf, and one that hasn't been realized yet.

Well, Ecademy, Livejournal, Typepad all have copious quantites of FOAF available. The problem is that FOAF is really a write only protocol. None of us have been able to crack the process of sharing FOAF between sites. And even though there really ought to be a Google style White Pages that aggregated all that structured data, nobody has really managed that one either.

I suspect that it's going to take something like the people working in Identity like Infocards, SXIP, OpenID or LID to actually make this vision happen and the data transfer protocol probably won't be FOAF.
